Cookies

If you use any of the forms on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and other required data in cookies.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Content is embedded from:

Youtube, Google, Google Maps, Freetobook, Stripe & Weather-Atlas.

What data is collected by us

We only use two forms for general enquiries, and the data requested for each can be viewed via the following links:

General Enquiries
D-Day Tour Enquiries

When you make a booking, we require all of your normal contact details, the number and ages of guests, plus credit card details for deposit and balance payments. All of this is handled securely by the reputable companies detailed below.

Who we share your data with

We only share the essential financial data necessary to accept online payments with the well-established and reputable companies concerned with this aspect, notably:

Freetobook, through whom our online bookings are coordinated.

Stripe, one of the world’s largest, most secure and trusted payments systems.

Our bank, Crédit Mutuel.

Any other data is only ever seen by us. The only exception to this would be in the unlikely case of receiving a direct request from the French authorities concerning any crime an overseas visitor is suspected of committing. For this reason we are required to register the contact details of all overseas visitors via a FICHE INDIVIDUELLE DE POLICE. This information is only ever seen by us unless a specific request is made by the French authorities.

How long we retain your data

We only ever retain data for as long as is necessary to finalise payments, or to seek compensation for any damage caused during a customers stay.

We are legally obliged to retain FICHE INDIVIDUELLE DE POLICE details for 6 months.

The only exception to the above is our personally & securely retaining the basic name & email details of previous clients. These may be used for occasional marketing promotions (managed entirely by us, and never through a third party), though you can opt out of receiving these at any time.

What rights you have over your data

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

The section above, entitled ‘Who we share your data with‘ answers this question in the same way.

Secure Connections

What does this mean?

Connection Encrypted
